First of all i would like to inform you that you have an horrible after sales service. I had given my handset (MICROMAX CANVAS4) for repair around two months back as it was heating up and was not charging. 1st visit to customer care: I had to wait for nearly 3 hours for your engineers to check the phone and the end response i got was the problem was there with my battery not the handset.I agreed to them and asked them to give me a new battery. They asked me to place an order paying RS 750 and wait for 10 days to receive the battery. I decided to purchase a battery from flipkart as it would only take 2-3 days. The problem was still there after replacing the battery. 2nd visit to Service centre: They took the handset, pretend to check something for one hour and told the battery is FAKE. I agreed to them cursed Flipkart and asked them to replace the battery. They replaced it within2-3 days. AND the problem continued. 3rd Visit to Service centre. They received the handset and asked to come after a week as they would look after the issue. I also paid for a new battery in the same customer service centre as the ones which they are selling wouldn’t be FAKE as claimed by them. 4th Visit to Service centre: They gave the hand set with a new battery and asked me to put the battery in charge for 6 hours. I agreed to them returned back only to know that i was cheated once again. 5th visit to Service centre: They received the handset and asked to come after 21 days.I gave my handset with the NEW ORIGINAL battery . 6th visit to Service centre i.e today: I was shocked to hear that i would have to pay RS 4400 if i want to go ahead with the repair as my phone’s warranty is over and there is no problem with the battery, problem is there in the handset. I asked them when i gave the phone it was in warranty and you made me purchase 2 new battery and the problem was with the phones motherboard. They told me that they cant help me and straight away they asked me to go to consumer court if i want as they have very good lawyers to deal with such cases.
