Micromax – Faulty Product Delay in Repair

Hi Micromax, I purchased a Micromax phone, model-Canvas4 A210, model number SERMOBO299, IMEI/ESN No. 911316301532641/911316301746648, last year. Since June, 2014 I am dissatisfied with my choice of purchasing a Micromax Phone. After too much of to and fro rounds to Micromax service center Ghaziabad, I still haven’t got my phone back. Let me give some context of the problems: Date of Deposit Date of Return Issue 10-Jun-14 25-Aug-14 deposited at service center because the phone was dead. 02-Sep-14 09-Sep-14 charging indicator was not working 15-Sep-14 Not received till date deposited at service center because the phone was dead. Service Center Details : M/S Service Zone Tele Centre, RDC, Raj Nagar, Ghaziabad Service Center Contact No. : 01202820xxx Details of Latest job sheet: Jobsheet No. -N040643-0914-12176713 dated 15/sep/2014 Complaint No.- 1809141269 This is only a overview of the problem. The issues by which I am feeling humiliated as a customer is : 1. A new phone which is under 1 year warranty is at service center for approx seven months in a year. 2. The response time for the service is highly dis satisfactory. 3. Even after number of follow ups there is no date on which I will get my phone back in a suitably working condition.

After few months the Warranty will void for the set automatically. But after such an experience, it is unlikely that I will not face any issues further. So, I am seeking to get refund of my valuable investment of rs.17900/- which I wasted for this cheap product. Thanks, Rishabh (0813001xxxx)
