I purchased micromax smart phone CANVAS HD A116 (M_IME 911304252441468 S_IME 911304252696467) on 17/05/2013. Hand set stopped giving voice. I approached to authorised service centre at Vashi today i.e. 12/10/2013. It has been stated to me that they have changed ringer but problem is due to motherboard- bcoz pcb. It has been stated that hand set is needed to be given to them for minimum 10 days to repair as per terms. Job Sheet No/Request no given by ythem is WO30172-1013-5865469/ R131OFMH5912255. In such circumstances it is not clear as to why such a major repair is required when 10 days or more time is required. I have to arrange another hand set or to manage without mobiole during this repair time . It was not possible to miss my urgent business calls and suffer loss, therefore taken back. Presently I have been forced to keep defective hand set without repair. I would like to state that: 1. I have ben given defective hand set started given problem of motherboard. 2. Why such a long time is required to repair hand set. 3. Why the hand set should not be replaced in case of body remains old but motherboard changes. The company is responsible for deficiency in services, harrassment to me. I have not been given correct address of service centre at Vashi and made me run around to find the location of service centre at Vashi. I should be given justice by repairing the hand set immediatly or defective set should be replaced and compensation be geiven for loss, harressment, mental agony.
14500/- cost of hand set Compensation for harassment, mental agony, missing urgent calls and sale of defective hand set (breach of trust) Rs. 100000/- Rs. 500/- for commuting to service centre. Total comes to 115000/-
