I have been availing the MTNL Broadband service since October, 2012 & been a user of landlines service from August, 2001. Sir, you can’t imagine that this is for the third time in just a space of one & half months, that I have not been able to avail the broadband service due to some technical fault. On last two occasions (both in December, 2013), I had registered my complaints directly at the MTNL Public Grievance Cell, Sanchar Bhawan, Ashoka Road, New Delhi – 110 001 (011-23356666) (Complaint No. MOCPG/P/2013/42532 & MOCPG/P/2013/40632), along with, GM, MTNL West Delhi (Mr. Vichitra Kumar, 011-25457374). Since October, 2012 i.e. 15 months since I started using the MTNL Broadband service, at least for more than 10 different occasions I had to face this kind of problem where internet doesn’t work for 3-4 days, even after registering my complaint at the concerned telephone exchange. Being a working professional, it has caused me a lot of hardship as lot of times, I have to work from home and being into the legal profession, it may seriously affect my relationship with clients & seniors. It’s accepted that being a technical thing, faults may come up, but three times in a span of just one & half months seems too much. What is more pathetic is the attitude of certain people working as staff at your offices especially the lady who used to receive telephone calls at GM (West Delhi) office during the month of June 2013, then another lady who was there receiving calls at MTNL Public Grievance Cell, Sanchar Bhawan when last time (December 31, 2013) I had made a call to know the status of my complaint & also Mr. M.P. Aggarwal (011-25074040), the Area Manager, along with certain “bunch of jokers” who are stationed here at Dwarka Telephone Exchanges. My past experiences have taught me a very important lesson that the staffs here at local area telephone exchanges will never going to take any kind of action until and unless the complaint is later filed at the top most level. As during these past fifteen (15) months they never took any kind of satisfactory action, till the time I didn’t made my problem knew through Department of Public Grievance Cell (http://www.pgportal.gov.in/) or through my complaint either to MTNL Public Grievance Cell or GM (West Delhi) Office. This is the level of shamelessness which can be witnessed amongst certain section of your staffs, especially the ones which are there stationed at the local telephone exchanges.
I just want that witnessing the frequency of recent technical glitches (thrice within a span of one & half months), if there is any fault in the wiring system or in the router, please repair it as soon as possible.
