Nike Shoes Defect – Replacement denied

Hi, I purchased two pairs of Nike shoes in a buy one get one offer from Nike factory Showroom, Rajajinagar. This purchase was made on 19/10/2014 and the bill amount was 4995/- (Buy one get one off). However after 3 months, one of the pair of shoes had a defect and we took it back to the showroom on 10/02/2015. Nike accepted the defect and sent us a mail that an exchange is approved and we can go and collect the shoe. However when I went to the showroom, I was told that since the same model was not being manufactured anymore, they cannot replace the shoe. I was ready to buy a male version of the same model, but I was denied that. I was told to pickup product worth ~2500/-. However that would mean a loss of 2500 for me, since I would never have bought the shoes in the first place if there was no offer. I have the original bill and a copy of the email where the defect was accepted and an exchange approved. Kindly let me know how to take this forward. Regards, Kiran Kumar Raju
