IFB Washing Machine Model Senator 6kg

I have lodged a complaint for the IFB Washing Machine (service centre contact no 18604255678 on the 5th of September for 2 reasons
1. Door hinge broken
2. Machine makes too much noise

The person who came completed one part of the complaint and did not resolve the second part stating he’ll have to come back and check.

When I called again after 2 weeks I was told to lodge a fresh complaint as they had closed the earlier call. So I lodged a new complaint on the 21st of September. Till the 23rd of September, no service person attended the complaint. When i called to ask why I was told to call up the service centre (franchise on 022-32240707 or 022-32156521) On trying these numbers there was no answer, so I again called up the toll free number. I was given a new number to contact (the supervisor of the service centre 9702848448)

After 12 calls to all these numbers finally the service technician came on the 24th of September at 1.30pm. I had during that left the house for some personal work. When he contacted me, I requested him to wait for 20 minutes and his answer was ‘I can only wait 5 minutes otherwise I’ll TRY and come tomorrow.’ So, I requested my neighbour to open the door till I returned home.

He checked the machine and then tries to convince me that the machine is bound to make this amount of noise. I have been using an IFB for the last 10years and more and this man is telling me that it will make so much noise. When I stood my ground, he tells me that the ball bearings will have to be changed. This was on the 24th of September and today is the 1st of October. I must have made about 50 calls between the service centre and the IFB toll free number. And even then, I have been given empty promises of when the this GREAT SERVICE TECHNICIAN will arrive.

Please help me. I have taken a service contract on this machine and this is the kind of service I get.
