I have been using Ola cabs in Delhi for more than 3-4 months now for personal and official purpose. On 01.03.2015 I booked a cab for next day morning 06:05 AM. I received a confirmation message for my booking (Ref. Screenshot attached). I booked this cab till Iffco to catch an interconnecting cab to Bhiwadi for an official one day trip. In the morning when I didn’t get a cab I tried calling customer care but no one picked the call. While getting late I tried making alternative arrangements but no cab was available due to First day of the week. I couldn’t use metro as well up so early to reach Iffco Chowk at 7 AM. Therefore I had to finally cancel the one day trip to Bhiwadi due this deficiency of service. Cab company sent an cancellation message 35 mins after the schedule time. I called up customer care to discuss the same but they simply saying that there was no cab available in my area so they couldn’t send the cab. This is clear case of deficiency of services.
I seek two reliefs: 1. Damages because of this deficiency in services amounting to INR 2000. 2. Cab company should be made liable to provide alternative arrangements in case car can’t be sent after confirmation message.
