Air conditioner was purchased in 2011. There was an AMC purchased for the maintenance of the item from our side with the Dealer. At the time of maintenance purchase, it was told that all of the things are covered under AMC except for the plastic items and remote. recently our A/C under AMC was not working properly and we called the services guys. They took the A/c with them and then called up from the service center asking us to pay for 5000 rupees approximately. It is clearly mentioned that all other items will be covered under AMC. When told that the A/c was under AMC, they told tht the COIL had to be repaired due to the open sevages. We requested them to take care of this under the AMC since we had already paid for the same which was 3900 for 2 yrs – aug 2012- aug 2014. Every time they came for maintenance to our house, they purposely created problems in A/c and probably broke the COIL themselves to make more money. They asked us for 300 Rs extra for the travelling which we agreed to pay. these guys never told us when they were in our house that there were charges to be paid. This is sheer exploitation of consumer rights. When we have already paid for AMC, why should we pay more money each time?? We want this issue to be taken care of. The same case is with other 2 A/c .they are not under AMC but still every time these guys came to check the A/c , they started showing problems.They created problems in all of them and then charged us 5000-6000 rupees. All these 3 A/c are bought in 2011. Its not even 1.5 yrs. It is sure that the service guys broke and damaged the parts while trying to repair.
We want Our 3 Acs to be repaired without any cost of money given by us since we have already paid a lot to them. AMC money to be refunded back which is 2900 rs.
