I applied for Online connection of AIRTEL DTH and paid online after getting confirmation from one of the
customer executive that there is 15% discount on doing online booking.
I used Debit card of ICICI bank. From my bank account amount of INR 1990.00 has been deducted.
Following is the reference no appearing in my account statement –
BIL/000122588075/airtelDTH021009/AIRTELD dated 02. oct 2009.
I could not write down the customer ID reference number of transaction as Airtel web site CLOSED AFTER
ONLINE TRANSACTION.
After repeated follow ups from call centre, I could not get any trace of my payment. I wrote many mails but
again no use.
At last AIRTEL stated as follows – “We would like to inform you that we are not able to assist you as you
have not mentioned your customer ID and registered contact number. So we request you to kindly provide
customer ID, registered contact number and complete information regarding your issue so that we would be
able to assist you.”
However, I also checked from ICICI bank about my payment status. bank has replied as follows -“Dear
Customer,
Request Number:SR122330997
Type of query: Details required on transaction in Bank account
Resolution: Debit of Rs.1990 on 02/10/2009 is in favour of AIRTEL”
Please help me by addresing my complain. After all possible efforts and options, I’m writing to you after
almost 20 days.
I didn’t even get a single mail / call from AIRTEL
resolving my query.
