In August 2013, Mr. Ritesh Agarwal (director- Parlance Publishers) promised me to publish my work of fiction- It’s For You… Mihi on a buy back of 250copies. Later he raised his demand, he asked for Rs-5000 for cover page designing. After few days when I asked to edit the final manuscript, he demanded another Rs-9000 for it. Before the novel was announced to pre-order, Mr. Ritesh asked for full payment-Rs-40000. At the time of payment, he promised for good quality of the books, good editing, and most importantly, to start the pre-order with at least 3 online stores. He also promised to launch the book till the end of the December. I paid him through cheque but he asked to draw the cheque by his name instead of his company’s name. The pre-order had started in December on snapdeal.com and homeshop18.com. But on homeshop18 it displayed- out of stock. Each time I requested to bring it to the stock, he illogically excused. So, by then, it was available only on snapdeal.com( irrespective of his promises that it will be available for pre-order on more than 3 online stores). Even after I paid 9000 for the editing services, he did not provide me the same. After the typeset, he sent me a softcopy for a formality. I realized, it was unedited and unseen. When i asked him, he excused illogically again, resulting to which I worked for whole night to proofread it myself. Later, he did not keep his third promise to launch it in December. He released it on 28th Feb. Even after the release, the book is not available on other websites and snapdeal is not delivering it on time. The book’s quality is so poor and unreasonably priced high for such quality of book. It’s been two months since the book launched, the book is completely not available in offline stores and it is available on snapdeal only. I could not see any effort by my publisher in promoting the book. He took everything for granted.

As a compensation, I want my investment back along with a lump sum amount of money for the harassment and my career spoiling attempt by him.
