Hi, This complaint is with regards to PayTM online mobile recharge services. Order No.: 58066753 60336060 60337704 95609426 On 24th Nov 2012 I did a recharge of Rs. 24, it failed & they refunded the amount to their own “cash” system called “PayTM cash”. After which I requested to refund to bank. On 12 Dec 2012, another recharge of Rs. 60 failed, amount added to PayTM cash, which I again requested for bank refund. On the same day, another recharge failed, but this time amount got deducted from my account & they never added it to account. For the first two failed recharges, they never refunded it my bank account. I had contacted them dozens of time, every time a new support rep will contact me & I have to explain the whole story again & again. Then he/she will ask for 2-3 days time, but never got back. By this time, the support staff started deleting support tickets, Facebook messages & blocked from Twitter.

So, I couldn’t contact them anymore. I had provided them my bank account statement to show I never received any refund even after 4-5 months. I couldn’t take it anymore & had to settle for PayTM cash again. So, they added Rs. 134 (24+60+50). To my surprise they tool back Rs. 50 & the cash reduced to 84. Now, on 18 May I again did a recharge of Rs. 73, which failed once again, but they keep showing that recharge have been successful. Even though it failed. They are not responding to any email either. In short, they are simply running a scam operation. Never refunding money to bank accounts & never provided any proof that they have refunded it to bank. Please, look into this scam company. They are looting the people in broad daylight. Also, kindly let me know how I lodge an official complaint against them in consumer court. For all this harassment from last half an year, I won’t settle for merely just the refund of couple hundred rupees. They need to be fined for their poor tactics of money extortion.
