Pepperfry – Gas stove lighter stopped working

Namaste, Had ordered a product on Pepperfry on 13th March (ORDER #300886745). It reached me on 20th March. It was a gas stove lighter. From the very next day, it stopped working. Wrote to Pepperfry on 21st March asking for a replacement. They simply replied asking me to sent photos of the product demonstrating the damage. I kept telling them that the product has no visible external damage but is not working. After that had no reply from them. Then when I remin them about the replacement due, they again ask me to send the photos of the product saying the images I sent previously were not showing any damages…!! I had to repeat to them like a parrot saying there were no external damages on the product. There was again a long period of silence. Upon provoking them again for a refund/replacement, I get a email now saying 30 Day money replacement time has lapsed and they can’t do anything about it..!!! This is how they cheat the customers. Hope to bring them under your scanner so that they won’t cheat innocent customers like me. Wish you have a positive response from you, Regards, Dr.GuruPrasad.B.V. Mysore, Karnataka.
