I bought two water coolers from Ekai Electricals Jayanti Bazar Jaipur and requested them to pack them for railway transportation and send to Railway Parcel Office Jaipur along with Guarantee cards duly filled. I paid via my credit card. They accepted to pack and send them. I informed them that I was traveling on the train. They called to inform me that the coolers were being sent to the Rly Parcel Office Jaipur where I went to receive them. When the coolers arrived they were not packed for transportation. I called Ekai and the vendor argued that the packing was good and that is how they always transport and have never had any complaints. Since I had to travel immediately so I had no option but to get packers there to put a jute cloth on top as the Railway refused to process them. I had to get jute cloth packing done on extra cost. The process took time and I missed my train and had to go by road. The coolers arrived at Madhira, AP on 13th and when opened I found they had been damaged and the vendor put three (not four-one each for the fans and pumps) blank guarantee cards inside- the product line was empty and lacked sign and stamp of the vendor rending them worthless. I sent a detailed SMS to Ekai and requested they to call me back which they haven’t till date. I then called my credit card company to stop payment until the conflict was redressed. I also sent a detailed Registered letter with copies of photographs of the damage to Ekai. I am now sending the same to you for your kind consideration. Thank you.
