Notice that was given to Ram Placement Agency: Apropos our contract that we entered on 7-August-2013 (Bill # 019), where you agreed to provide maid/attendant to take care of my aged, but healthy mother and other household chores against an 11 months service charge of ? 25,000 (though we agreed and settled for ? 21,000 to begin with). You provided a maid, Aloka to start this assignment on 7-Aug-2013. We agreed for her, despite not taking her interview and in the absence of any alternative given by you. However, you assured that if for whatever reason we don’t like her services after 10-15 days, you will replace her with another person. We have informed you over telecom after 7-10 days that we would prefer someone else and you kept on giving assurance that you are arranging another maid in a weeks’ time. Aloka left after 12-15 days, however your false excuses and promises become routine to our phone calls even today, after 6 months. You offered us an alleged illegal maid from Assam, who doesn’t know anything and can’t speak North India languages. We refused to take her service as we even suspected your involvement in human trafficking and other illegal means in this case. There cannot be any reason or excuse for your failure to comply with contract terms even after we waited for more than 6 months to provide us genuine legal maid services. Unless and until your intentions are mala fide to ill obtain and squander money from unsuspecting individuals. You have acted in total neglect of the contracting terms and till date not provided a replacement genuine maid and have not made any effort in good gesture or to act in accordance of the contracting terms. This notice is served to you to provide us a genuine legal maid service in 15 days’ time from the receipt of this notice or refund ? 21,000 + Interest at market rate + punitive damages. Should you fail to comply with this notice, we will have no alternative but to initiate legal action in accordance with law of the land.

I wand refund of Rs 21,000 + 20% interest (or whatever is acceptable market interest rate) on the money and Rs 100,000 as hardship that we have gone through (mental, physical and economical). For reference, I am attaching: a. original Notice that I have sent to them b. Receipt of payment c. Agreement with them d. Maid servant details. Also, I have added ‘Rechargeitnow’ as there is no appropriate correct ‘Brand’ is available. Complaint is not for them. Thanks
