Refund of service money

Dear Sir

With due respect I would like to put across my heartfelt grievance against M/s. World Wide Immigration Consultancy Services Ltd. having their office at FMC Fortuna Block A-12, 2nd Floor 234/3A A J C Bose Road, Kolkata and HO at A-12 Industrial Area Phase VI Mohali represented by Mr. Ratan J Mishra, Branch Manager who failed to provide me the professional services for assisting me and my husband to immigrate to Canada and permanent settlement.

After various meeting and discussion with Ms.Aanaya Ror, Counsellor we have been asked to sign a one sided agreement the copy of which have been given to us without any signature by me and immediately after that we need to deposit a fees of Rs.30000.00 as their Retainer Fees for their services to guide and assist me and my husband in settling in Canada with job also.

Our plight start only after we paid Rs.30000.00 as inspite our repeated request that we should get in writing as what are the documents with its content we need to submit in order to be eligible for getting the immigration visa for Canada but they never provided us the same and on the day when they asked us to pay the balance amount of Rs.20000.00 along with USD 1500 and also the Canadian Visa fee of CAD 550 then we were told that the document submitted were not sufficient and we should produce separate set of documents on that we said that it is not possible from our end as the documents can not be prepared right away and also have been submitted only after discussion and subsequent mail dated 13 March 2009 but they were adamant especially Ms.Ananya Roy, Consellor with a complete knowledge of Mr.Ratan J Mishra, Branch Manager as I had proved that during the first few interaction we were told that part of total fund which need to be shown to the Canadian High Commission would be arranged by them and for that we have to pay some amount as commission to the agency and the amount itself was wrongly given to us. When we enquire with Mr.Mishra he clarified that it was misinformed to us and which my husband also pointed out that it should not be repeated in our later dealing but they were only interested to take the money.

We immediately withdrew all the submitted documents which we carried and walked out. After this we were mentally exhausted with their lack of professionalism, misguidance and callousness towards the whole process especially by Ms.Ananya Roy, Counselor.

It is important here to mention that all these mismanagement from her was brought to the notice of Mr.Ratan J Mishra, Branch Manager who agreed and scolded her in front my husband. But despite of all this she never ever able to guide us properly and then we mailed on 21 March 2009 to Mr.Mishra for refund of our money for the services though they promised but failed to provide and after my husband’s phone call for asking the refund Mr.Mishra given him a mail dated 21 March 2009 in which he accepted the lapse on her part and appointed to other counselor but by this time we had completely lost faith and trust on their system and had no option but to seek refund of Rs.30000.00 including some suitable amount for the mental agony and loss of the career due to their misguidance but till date nothing has been informed on this regard.

My husband last mail dated 22 March 2009 is the testimony of the same and finally a Regd. Letter dated 14 April 2009 for refund but till date no reply from them.

Therefore I earnestly plead to your good office that kindly bring justice to us by getting the refund of Rs.30000.00 (Rupees Thirty Thousand only) and not the mental stress we had to go for many days due to their untrained and non-professional personnel from this the consultancy who are only interested to take the money from the client and put complete onus on them for once and all.
