I bought a new cellphone for my reliance-cdma no. 9369190xxx and just after putting the sim into that I recharged it with 500 bucks and received the talk-time of 600 bucks(In extra talk-time recharge) on dated 8 July, 14. Same day I started using internet through my BSNL wi-fi and kept my mobile data off so that I won’t be charged with any money by reliance. Very next day in the morning when I called someone, I came to know that I have insufficient balance and can’t call. I addressed this issue to the customer care and for the first two days they did not update me saying that the system is being updated and they can’t check anything. Later on, after talking to the senior executive rajpreet I were told that the charges were for using mobile data and can’t be refunded. I wrote to customer care and received the mail from Ms. Sharmila stating that the issue will be resolved shortly and an executive will contact. However, even after a week there was no response and nobody responded. I was forced to write to appallet authority and told to receive resolution in 2 days. Today I receive message that the charges are legal and money can’t be refunded. I am sick and tired of following up again and again. Kindly help me resolve the matter and refund my money.
Complaint was lodged and ref no. is DWML14122464. I were charged with 600 bucks. Nothing is refunded. I am aware of the mobile data plans also. But if I have internet and kept my mobile data off, how can I use internet through reliance network. My BSNL wi-fi connection is unlimited and can be used on mobile and laptops etc.
