Reliance infocomm – poor service

I lost my handset on 5th may ’13 and reported the loss of the same to my service provider a day after. They issued me a duplicate simcard on 10th of may, ’13 which got activated on 13th may, ’13. I put that simcard in a basic CDMA handset borrowed from my friend (Huawei C2206, S/N: PJ4CAA1911414967). After the my number got activated, I went out of station into roaming. After 4-5 days I got a message on my phone saying that my usage was high and i needed to pay a certain amount to continue my services. After a day or so all my o/g as well as incoming even incoming messages were stopped. To my horror, On 19th of may ’13 my phone had become brick no phones as well as messages. I should remind you here that, since I was using a basic handset so any data usage was out of question. I managed to call the customer care when I got back to delhi (home circle), only to get a shocking reply that there was high data usage of more than Rs 2200/- on my number that’s why all my services has been barred. When asked about the details about that they told me that the details can only be provided after bill would be generated. So I had to wait until 9th of next month for any detail and meanwhile my all outgoing was barred completely. Anyway after the bill got generated, after so many calls I got the details of all the data usage. To my peak of horror, what I find that there was data usage of 1090 MB used in 4-5 days flat used between 15th to 20th may ’13. The pattern of data usage is like it has been used every hour continuously. My biggest question is how can I use a single byte of data on the phone model above mentioned, that only supports phone calls and messages. I was in roaming entire time at my home town due to some emergency at my home how can I use more than 1 GB of data with that handset in flat 4 days. I tried to contact with Reliance with the following questions: 1) What was the IMEI No. of the handset on which the data was used? 2) Also provide the MAC ID of the device on which the above mentioned data was used. 3) To check what was the IP Address and location of the device on which the data was used. Still their response is awaited, I am enclosing a copy of mail with this complaint. please do an enquiry of the mentioned mobile number, because I strongly suspect that somebody from the company itself is using my number to use data services.

I want an immediate inquiry into the discrepancy as to how my no was used for data which I have not used and a compensation of Rs. 50000/- for the harassment and loss of mobility in spite of paying bills every month.
