Sahara Packers and Movers – Lost and stolen goods

I engaged Sahara Packers and Movers for relocating my household goods from Hyderabad to Navi Mumbai (Consignment No. 25094 dated 27 September 2013). The goods which were supposed to have arrived in 3 days, took more than a week. What’s worse was that most of the high value items like our AC, Home Theatre, Speakers, Mixer Grinder, Glassware have not been delivered. Several other items like beds, microwaves, crockery have been damaged beyond repair. Repeated attempts to reach their corporate office in Bangalore were met with rude responses asking us to talk to Mr. Chaudary in Hyderabad and Mr. Ved Prakash who is in charge in Mumbai but they are not even answering my calls. I have sent a final reminder and notice to return the missing goods or compensate me adequately. I have also approached the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and the reference number for my complaint with the ministry is 498107. Request you to help me in getting compensation for the goods stolen by Sahara Packers.

I wish to be compensated to the full value of the stolen items (Rs. 80,000) and also be compensated for the trauma and hardship caused due to their negligence.
