I am writing with regards to the services I am getting from Samsung India. I bought an AC on Jan 17th 2012 in Kolkata (Model AS182SGD).
I stay in Bangalore and this product was bought for my family use in Kolkata. It worked for first year and in April 2013 it started giving problem pertaining to condenser/compressor and was repaired with Compressor being replaced. I paid approx 5000 INR for that service.
Now in Apr 2014 the same problem has appeared and on contacting the Samsung service center we have been asked to pay ~8000 INR. After much persuasion Mr Sunil Bansal (CC’ed in this Email – one of the reps of Samsung India) offered 50% waiver. We agreed to that over 9 days back and still the AC has not been repaired nor there is any information.
I have been trying to contact them through Emails/calls still no satisfactory response has been received.
Since the AC unit has been giving problem from the very beginning I asked for a replacement, which Samsung has declined. I requested to speak to some senior manager in Samsung, no response from them about that too…
Earlier today, I called Mr Bansal and was told he is in a meeting. He told that he would call me in next 5-10 mins. Its is over 4 Hrs and still waiting for his call/update.
Seems Samsung has cheated me by selling a defective product, request you to help me get the machine repaired or replaced at the earliest. My 6 years old daughter is suffering in this summer because of a broken SAMSUNG product.
I would have no other option left other than going to Consumer Court if this is not sorted by Friday (May 16th 2014).
Thanks & Kind Regards
Amit Saraswat
