I have purchased LCD TV Series 5 of samsung make from Gulf .Within 1.5 years its panel became defective. When i checked data on net saw many consumer are facing panel failure of series 5 . Panel cost is 90% of TV cost , if panel fails one has to throw TV . I reported problem to Samsung India service center and told them as many customer are facing panel failure in Series 5 why company has not recalled this product from market . I got rude reply from service head Mr Anoop of samsung that they are not bothered for the consumers it is a mistake of me to buy series 5 product . I am slso a electronic engineer worked with Onida for 15 years as a engineering head designing TV’s . I understand that if panel of TV fails in 1.5 years & of many consumer than it is serious quality design issue in product & company has knowingly sold defective products in India & Gulf . This type of company should be penalized as even panel is also product of Samsung. I need your help to force company to recall the product . I asked samsung to share failure data of series 5 globally for panel failures they are not cooperating . Regards, Mahesh Jagiasi
