Complaint against The Mobile Store concerning Samsung Mobile repairs • Bought a Samsung Mobile (SM Galaxy S Duos S7562 White IMEI 0354905055820387) from The Mobile Store Limited Showroom at Shankar Road Market, New Rajendra Nagar New Delhi Dated 24/03/2013 Invoice No. 1167/21072 (enclosed) along with TMS Extended Warranty Dated 24/03/2013 Invoice No. 1167/21073 Policy End Date 23/03/2015 (enclosed). • On 08/09/2014 visited above mentioned Store and deposited the Mobile for necessary repairs under extended warranty as was facing problem of FAST BATTERY DRAIN. I had clearly informed the Staff that I have already tried initial troubleshooting like hard reset, latest software version upgrade and also replaced my old battery with a brand new one. However, the battery was removed along with SD Card and SIM and handed over to me. • On 11/09/2014 I received an SMS from LM-Mstore stating “We have received your SM Galaxy S Duos S7562 White for repair under extended warranty scheme. Please note your request #677574 for future tracking”. • On 18/09/2014 I received another SMS stating “Mobile Samsung Gal S Duos has been dispatched to TMS Store in 2-4 days. Please open sealed box at store and test your handset before collection”. • On 18/09/2014 I visited the Store in evening where I was handed over the Mobile. It seemed that the Mobile was mishandled as it had visible starches and marks on external body. I raised my protest with the Staff. The Mobile was not packed as mentioned in their SMS above. • On 19/09/2014 I found that the problem was not resolved as in spite of fully charging the Mobile after bringing it back on 18/09/2014, the battery drained within few hours and that too without much usage. I, therefore, contacted the Store on phone to find out as to what repair work was carried out as the problem remained unresolved. The Staff asked to me contact the Service Centre at Ahmedabad directly and shared contact details of Mr H Patel (0886609xxx). • I immediately called on the above number and found it to be a helpline number of one Karmatech. The operator could not share any information on my Mobile and instead directed me to contact Mr Anupam on WhatsApp (08866096xxx). • I messaged on given number and asked Mr Anupam status on Job Sheet RP0000677574 and also informed that the problem still remains unresolved. He replied “Please deposit your handset in store and inform me. I will arrange pickup and check”. I followed his advice. • On 20/09/2014 I visited the Store and handed over the Mobile to Staff. I clearly mentioned that issue of FAST BATTERY DRAIN remains unresolved and this time on their request handed over the brand new battery as well. I took pictures of the Mobile along with Battery and asked them to avoid any mishandling in future. • This time a fresh Job Number RP0000678183 got generated by the Store instead of treating my complaint under old Job Number as it remained unresolved. It was mentioned that “BATTERY DRAINING FAST BATTERY
I demand a fresh mobile or full refund i.e. 13,600/- plus 199/- plus damages incurred due to multiple phone calls, visits to the Store.
