SBI – Misguiding me, providing falsified information and dishonoring commitments

I have a SBI Platinum Credit Card, which I purchased from Croma Store, Belapur. While purchasing, I was told that since I am a Tata Employee, I will get lifetime membership for this card will be waived for me. But, the representative did not mention that, waiving off would make me ineligible for the welcome gift. Only when i raised the question, i was told that i will not get the welcome gift. Further, their representative during purchase told me that I would get 5% cashback for any purchases made in Croma store. Additionally, on May 2, 2013 when I was making a purchase at Croma, R-City Mall, Ghatkopar, their representative there, again reinforced that I should use the SBI credit card, as i will get 5% cash back. However, i never received the Cashback. On raising the complaint, and consistent follow up, I was finally promised by them on May 29, 2013 that I would get my cash back by July 15, 2013 (Ref No; MQ0121445088841). However, i did not receive any cashback till date. When enquired again, first their representatives said that I am not eligible for cashback and will not get any. When I pressed for rationale, claiming I have a written commitment from them, they have just been stalling the matter and have still not provided any closure on the issue. Finally, they do not mail me my credit card statement either by e-mail or by post. Only when i put a complaint mail that i receive the same. And when i ask them to then accordingly provide me extension for payment due date on pro-rata basis due to their delay, they refuse to do so. So, because of their delay, I face financial crunch to manage my finances.

I want my cash back. I want the welcome gift. I want appropriate compensation for the stress caused by them due to their misguidance, misinformation and unprofessional conduct, so that they would think twice before repeating the same with any other customer
