Shopclues.com Online Shopping – they fool the customers

had ordered a night gown bearing order no. 7522369 (sub order no. 7522371) dated 11.10.2013. They had mentioned the product description as “Designer nightwear in cotton – size XL, code 345793” in their website, which costed Rs 399/- which was paid in full. There was no size chart in the website nor the product was zoomable.

When the product was delivered I was shocked to find that the size was not proper. I applied for a refund and was told to send the photo of the product where the size was mentioned. I was even more shocked to find that the garment had no label in it mentioning either the brand or size. Still I sent the the photo as required by them and was replied that the merchant had sent me the product in the same size as I had ordered and he has refused to give a refund. After this I have been reminding them to refund my money as I had nothing to do whatsoever with the merchant and I was dealing with shopclues alone. From that day they stopped responding to my emails and are keeping mum on the matter. Their telephone lines are always engaged and I have not been able to speak to them directly. If there is no size chart in the website how are customers going to decide which size the garment is, as various brands have different sizes. With no label in the garment (which proves its some local brand) they should not advertise the product as “DESIGNER”.

It is not about money, its the way they fool the customers, that I am not able to digest. I request your goodself to take up the matter and help me to get a refund out of Shopclues.com
