This is in reference to a fire that broke out in my Skoda Fabia car on 21/3/14 in Mumbai. It’s been over a month since this incident and yet Skoda Auto company has not resolved the issue. We have not heard back regarding an update with regard to the investigation which Skoda Auto is conducting. Such an incident should not have occurred and clearly implies manufacturing defect. Even after such a traumatic event Skoda Auto have not yet taken responsibility and repaired the car. It is also very inconsiderate of them to harass a senior citizen such as myself. Besides, fire breaking out in Skoda cars is not happening for the first time. The fire which broke out implies manufacturing defect. There is extensive damage to the car due to which we are faced with severe financial difficulty in lieu of costs involved in repair. The relief that we want is that Skoda Auto should repair the car and they should bear the cost of repair to the car.
