I had placed an order (No 927508155) from Snapdeal.com on April 2, 2013 for a magazine subscription for “Muscular Development”. I used my credit card to make the payment, using EMI scheme. I was supposed to be shipped the first issue on 25th June. On the 28th of June, after getting no intimation regarding the shipment, I called up Snapdeal helpdesk. They suggested I cancel the order because they have shortage of product. So, I cancelled the order and I was promised a refund of Rs. 4,997. After 4-5 days, I called up Snapdeal and their representative asked for my NEFT details, which I then emailed to them. 10 days have gone by, and I have still not received my money in my bank account. Every time I call their helpdesk, they say the same thing, “Give us sometime.. you will soon get your money.” I have been promised that I will receive the money by end of this week, ie by tomorrow. But somehow, I know that they will not refund the money, because normally NEFT transfer takes 2-3 days, and they have initiated the refund last Thursday, according to their executive.
