Snapdeal – Items in old condition with old and dirty monitor

I purchased an ACCU CHEK GLUCO MONITOR through on line from Snapdeal on 24/05/2014 for Rs. 1388 with 50 nos of test strips as per Order No. 2134160060. The item was delivered to me on 28/05/2014 and I came to know from the invoice no. C2913/14-15/15265 DATED 24/05/2014 that the seller was BANTOM LABORATORIES PVT.LTD, NEW DELHI. When I opened the items, Though the items were in old condition with old and dirty monitor , I used the same thinking of the difficulty in returning the item back to supplier. But after carefully reading the long instructions, I started using the same but after seven days of receipt of the items. But the result always showed ERROR but sometimes , it was ok. For one test, at least 5 to 10 strips were to be used due to ERROR message in the machine. But when I fed up with using the monitor, I contacted SNAP DEAL on 23/06/2014 by e- mail and the Complaint no is: 7419004. Then , I contacted them over phone on same day and their reply was” since 7 days are over , I have to contact the seller, M/s. BANTOM LAB . I did contact the Bantom over phone , but their reply was that , since the payment was paid to Bantom by Snap deal, they will reply only Snapdeall and they don’t want to talk to me in this matter or contact the accu chek. Then I informed this Snap deal on 24/06/14 by e mail and after that no response from them. Again I contacted the Snap deal and Bantom Lab, but their replies were in negative. So, I file this complaint before this honourable Authority for speedy redress-al of either replacing the monitor or refund the amount of Rs. 1388 to me which was the cost of glucose monitor.

I want the relief of either replace the GLUCOSE MONITOR or return the amount of Rs./ 1388/-
