Value: 6999 Snapdeal Customer care: Case Number: 01132420 Ticket no: 00781280 Order no: 5698077449 Order of events: Placed order with Snap deal : 8th April 2015, Card was charged, Snap deal cancelled the order; Reason : Product out of stock 14 th April 2015 : Assured the money will be reimbursed within the next 24 hours. Since then I have been on telecon with the customer care almost on a daily basis to resolve this issue but till this moment all I have received from your end are fake promises that the issue has been forwarded to the finance and I will be refunded within next 48 hours.Further adding to aggravation I am in hole near about Rs. 250 as this top of the line company doesn’t even have a toll free 1-800 number and plus I am confronted by the personal, overcharging, pre recorded, faceless entity. Gosh! what ever happened to the flesh and blood person.So here is the thing, I order stuff which I never received at the first place and now to get my money back from you slackers I am spending more money, Brilliant.. what a deal ! I concur mistakes happen once in a while in business and this time unfortunately I was at the short end of the stick but the least you could do is call the customers and make them aware of the situation and above all offer them some compensation for the trouble and inconvenience they had to go through. After sending the bank statements for the umpteenth time to this delinquent company, today I decided to give them a call again( I know right, what was I thinking) and dear Mr Vinod Bamola, the supervisor tries to console me saying, ‘ its not a big deal Sir ! we will sort it out within the next 24 hours and he says why don’t you forward your bank statement again( and that was it ). Yes you are right Mr. Bamola, this is not a big deal,not to you at least and I am probably guessing it won’t be a big deal either, when I give a piece of my mind to your company. Today, its been 48 days since this charade has begun and I rarely thought that I would outburst on a public platform but you know what, you guys had it coming. So here it is, in the last 10 years or so of my online shopping experience I have never dealt with a company so unprofessional,indecorous and second rate in their standards of doing business. I know this is not gonna make much difference to your customer base but I had to do this because I know this is the right thing to do and if any one is going through the same agony all my support is with you guys.Now I know, not every one had a similar experience like what I had with Snapdeal and I am happy for you guys ,but this is just a heads up to you all out there who are dealing with Snap deal don’t let them take advantage of you. Lastly a Reality Check for Snap deal : We are paying customers, you have a job because of us and not the other way round.
Aggravation, mental stress and loss of over Rs. 500 just in phone calls and Internet usage alone to resolve this matter.
