SnapDeal Unfair Trade Practice

I had prebooked Micromax A116 Canvas HD on 16.02.2013 for Rs.13990/- through micromax website which redirected me to Snapdeal.com. Initially they said they will dispatch the product within 20 working days. But they dispatched the product on 23.03.2013, which I received on 25.03.2013. It had problem with it’s speaker, hence I contacted snapdeal.com representative who asked me to get DOA certificate from micromax service center and send the product back and then they will replace the product. I got the DOA certificate and I send back the handset to snapdeal. But after receiving the handset they said it is out of stock hence they will refund my money back. Several times I had contacted them (via e-mails and phone)and told them that “I want only replacement for which I am ready to wait for any number of days, but I don’t want the refund”. Instead of all my requests, they refunded the Rs. 13990/- to me on 15.04.2013, even though the product was available on their website that day.

I want compensatione for 1. Unfair trade – Rs.15000/- 2. Wasting my time and making me to wait – Rs.10000?- 3. Mental stress – Rs.10,000/- 4. Expenses for communicating with them – Rs.5000/-
