i have purchased one 32’inches LCD of sony company cost rs.30,000/- on march 2011.On October 2013 i.e.within 2.5 years the screen panel of my lcd got defected while watching only. i sent my tv to service centre on 15 November ,they ask me to pay 10,640 rs for new panel because they said that it can not repair,i ve paid the amount because sony gave only one year warranty on lcd.I know the terms that.s why without arguing i paid the amount got my tv back on 3 dec2013 .when i plug in my tv the contrast of screen was very loud.everyone in my home siad that it happens because its a new one. After that when we were watching the tv suddenly screen got blank still the power of tv was on.I ask my husband that something is going wrong with tv but still he console me may be its just a technical fluctuations. after that once in a day the screen get blank. i was thinking that i should inform about the problem to service centre because they told me that the new panel is having one year warranty.But before i can complain, on 24 dec 2013 at 9.00 pm again screen get blank i was trying to turn off the tv but it was completely out of my control.in the morning i complain to service centre they ask me to register my complain to sony customer care. i done the same. Next day they send one engineer ,he wasn’t able to understand the problem he said my the the current supply board was not working. i asked him what to do next he said that you’ll have to send the tv to service centre told him that i am a house wife its not possible for me to send it to your centre please you manage he refused to do so and said that you ll have to send it by your own.And this part is not come in panel warranty so you ll have to pay again for this dizzy board.I was shocked to hear that because within 2.5 years my tv whose costing was 30,000/ becomes 40,640 now and now they ask me to pay more.Now u tell me Sir/Mam, its just like that i am assembling a Chinese TV,.the company like Sony can not work for 5 years. I am very disturb because of careless behaviour of company.before going to the service centre my tv was working properly only the contrast of screen got effected but now the tv is dead.and above all when i ask the engineer about the cause why this board get crash he said an electronics part do not have the reason for damage. i told him that its your fault because it was working proper before going to service centre i said whatever it is you ll have to bear the expense.Sir/Mam its not possible for us to touch the board inside the tv it can only a mechanic or engineer can do so.Sir/Mam i need the help i am very disappointed,i m not able to pay again.they damage the board while repairing the tv now they ask me to bear.a brand like sony should understand the what quality means if a LCD can not work for at least 5 year than a chinese company tv is much better than the sony at least the maintenance is very low.plz sir/Mam help me out.
i dont want to pay for dizzy board now.
