Dear Sir, I have purchased my phone on 6th may 2012 on price 20502.03 RS. i have taken its one year extended warranty from United insurance Company limited. at the time when its warranty provided by sony my phone had repaired two times in the one year period. Last month my phone had a problem in its speaker. On 15th april 2014 i called to united insurance limited that my phone is in extended warranty of 1year and it will expire on 6th may 2014 and currently my phone’s speaker is not working. They told me two alternates 1 go to sony service center and then repair it before 6th may and attach all your bills, we will send your repairing charge by post. 2. they they told me to submit my phone and they will pay 50% of my phone as per there rule. i called to sony center on 15 april, and asked about the rabale (navi mumbai)nearest service center .They advised me to go thane service center and get repaired. I asked him to provide thane service center contact number so that i could ask when the service center would be closed? Then they provided me their contact details of c-com telecommunication pvt ltd, i called there and asked about the closing time. They told 6:30. On sharp 6:20 i was at thane service center they refused to submit my phone for repairing and told me to come next day and the reason they told that their service center is closed at 6:00 pm sharp when i asked that when i called you,you gave me 6:30 time then she refused for that and told that i had called on the branch office instead of service center. Then i called sony service center they also wrote my complaint against thane service center. On Saturday 19th april i went to sony service center, vashi (Sri Sai Electronics) for repairing my mobile. Sir i was surprised to hear the answer by service center that ” Right now this model phone is outdated so company dn’t have any parts of such type of phone. Then i called their customer care and gave them warning that i would go to consumer court if they will not repair my mobile. Then they told me not to worry as they have mailed to Mumbai office if there is any old phone then they will replace my speaker to that speaker even vashi service center mailed this. I am really shocked that this type of replacing work is also going on in authorized service center. Sir, My concern is that if anyone purchase a phone of such type of huge amount like 21000 then its parts provided by company only for one year after that company will not be responsible for their phones or parts. One year warranty provided by the company only for that reason after completing a year, if anyone’s have problem related to their phone or its any parts gets damaged then would throw that phone. Sir before sending you this complaint i have also recorded their last telephonic conversation because right now i have no proof in written of such cases. sir, suggest me what should i do because 6th may is the last day of my warranty after that united insurance will not giv.
sir, I want that they will pay me the cost of my phone as it is 20000. because sony don’t have accessories of my phone, if right now they repair my phone because of you (as i go to to consumer court) in future if my phone again get damaged with in 1 year then what should i do.again this problem come across me. that time they have option that your phone is too old and we dont have such type of accessories.so please give me cost of my phone so that i will purchase new phone. e and also give me my conveyance allowance which i have expended to go sony service center. 1 time i go to thane service center 2 times at vashi. and total conveyance allowance approximately 5000 including all fare. and sir today’s charges to cancel my ticket and hire a taxi for son y service center then again station and i taken today leave to go to home but its totally wasted due to the service center. Total amount is 30000 including all the things.
