I purchased a sony vaio ultrabook on 1st may 2013/ model no: SVT13113ENS/ serial no: 7006561. After using my laptop i found three things: 1. Few of its keys are not working. 2. The base and lcd panel has scrathes on its corner. 3. Lcd has itself a linings Regarding these problems i called your customer care and for resolving my complain your executive visited on 3-08-13 and after inspection he filled up job sheet and on 21-08-13 your executive came to replace my keyboard . When i asked about scratches, he said that for scratch issue i had to visit service center. In this regard i went to sony service center at Nehru Place, New Delhi. At service center executive looked after scratches on laptop and he accepted that its manufacturing fault. And taken my snaps of laptop and said that he will forward the mail to higher official for replacement. But in last 15 days i havent got any response from service center. On calling they said to wait for reply how much to wait even they dont know. The location,pattern and nature of scratches on my laptop says that its due to one of the following reason: 1. Substandard material used for case of laptop. 2. Defect in design of this model. 3. Due to manufacturing defect of this particular product. For this problem I contacted service center but they haven’t paid any attention. And hardly shown any interest in resolving my problem.
The psycho problem I have gone through each time when I opened my laptop and see those scratches on my laptop can’t be compensated. As I had a very hard earned money with what I had purchased my laptop. I think the following things can be done as redressal of my problem. 1. Either change my laptop with any other model as current laptop is made up sub standard material. Or I want my money back which is rs 39990. 2. In last three months I suffered a lot due to this Which can be summed up in terms of rupees 15000. 3. Irresponsible attitude of customer service should be fined rs 5000 so that from next time they won’t harass any other customer.
