I booked Airline Ticket for Delhi to Coimbatore on the 1st October 2014, for travel on 8th October through official website of Spice jet Airlines. Amount charged and paid through website was 22462.00. However NO TICKETS were issued due to technical glitch. Customer care responded hat they can not help and i have to pay again and get the ticket. I tried AGAIN and paid Rs 22462 .00 again through the website BUT no Tickets issued again. Airlines holding a total of Rs 44922.00 but still customer care stated that they can not help. In spite of confirmation mail from the website itself that both transactions were successful and details provided the Airlines stated that they not aware and will have to find out the transaction. Today even after 9 days the Airlines is not able to refund the amount charged nor did they issue tickets for travel as they stated their inability to issue tickets even if the amount is charged due to their policy . I could not travel for Business meeting and lost the Business worth Crores.
The poor service and poor Customer care has resulted in harassment as I have been regularly writing to the Airlines staff, talking to them everyday , but no results as they simply state – We shall look into the matter and revert but can not help in the matter. I have lost Business worth a few Crores due to not being able to travel for business meeting . airlines is holding an amount of Rs 44922.00 for over 10 days and refuse to pay interest on the amount stating that it is not their policy. the Ticket Prices had gone up by Rs 4000.00 the next day
