I was told that i could close the insurance within one year but now they are not allowing me to do so within 10 years.

I bought a life insurance poilcy from HDFC SL in Jan. When I received the Policy Document I found that my name was incorrect on it. I complained HDFC SL people and they took my policy documents back from me saying they will issue a fresh policy documnet.
