AIRTEL FINDS A LOOPHOLE IN TRAI GUIDELINES OF DND VIOLATION- REFUSES TO ACT AS PER TRAI GUIDELINES- INSTEAD VIRTUALLY SLAPS THE CUSTOMER AGAIN & AGAIN”
This is to report the following regarding DND violation (ALL THESE VOILATION ARE BY AIRTEL ITSELF’S TELE MARKETEER’S)
Dear Sir,
I purchased a Pre-paid AirTel SIM at Amarkantak, Distt. Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh in the last week of January 2009. Since its activation, the mobile no. 9755386571 allotted to me has hardly worked for two days at a stretch. Frequent complaints to the Customer Care have yielded nil, repeat, nil results.
Even text msg is not acknowledged by the customer care no. 98930 98930.

I have registered a complaint with Airtel Mobile Services on Feb-17th – Complaint Number 26956046. I must have called a dozen times w.r.t complaint but its still not resolved.

Already am registered with DND for more than 5 months.
I still receive SMS daily. I reported to airtel, but they always reply that please tell me the sms details and thats it, nothing happens.
According to trai, as stated on website also, that it not legal to send any sms or call for marketing. Then how come am receiving SMS’s.

Despite registering for NDNC through my current service provider – AirTel – for over a year, I am still receiving calls and promotional sms from telemarketers. Despite repeated complaints to AirTel, this issue is still not resolved. Continue reading
I am getting Promotional Calls from Airtel in additiona to other Bankers & ICICIPrulife.
I was told by Airtel that they have right to convey their Promotions & I have ent my Email to them as under.
Please clarify and direct the concerned about corrective action.
I am from New Delhi and Delhi State do not apear in the drop box here under.
