I purchased a new TATA DOCOMO 3G internet dongle with number 8087022863 paying three months advance. I received a text message from TD with a toll free number to activate my connection. I started having troubles from the very first day. The number mentioned in the text message was wrong and to add to my misery the number mentioned on the websites are also wring. It took me 3 hours to reach TD for activating my number. Few days later i received another text message that TD is not able to contact me at my billing address and i was asked to call them back to avoid any disruption to my service. I tried reaching TD again. I tried calling on 18002661800 which is their toll free number for retail customers but i dont know how and why it always got connected to their business service unit. I tried calling them on this number & the numbers provided by business service unit customer care executives at least 50 times. All the times the business service unit executive rather than troubleshooting my problem insisted on calling the same number again. They were also not able to transfer my call to the retail department. I asked them that i want to speak to their supervisor in hope that they might help me here. Out of these 50 times i was able to reach the supervisors only three times and every time these supervisors said “Sir are you able to hear me?” three times and disconnected the line. Though i was able to listen to them very clearly and even responded to them. I find it very disappointing as this is my first service with TATA. I never thought that a telecom giant like TATA DOCOMO will have this kind of customer service. I am deeply sadden with my decision to opt for TATA DOCOMO and will not recommend it to anyone. I am left with without a customer care number who can assist me with technical & non technical issues with my service.
I want a correct customer care number for my service.
