Tata DoCoMo Photon – Bill After Disconnection

This is with reference to my tata photon number 9227406589, I would like to bring to your kind notice that I have been trying to terminate my account for the same number since last 5-6 months but instead of terminating my account after clearing my all the dues they still sending me bill till date and torturing me to pay the bill. 4-5 months back I visited the tata photon customer care located at shiv ranjini circle, Ahmedabad and gave a request to convert my same photon post-paid connection to the prepaid connection because of my very low usage. This is to bring to your notice, because of their policy they don’t take such request until customer doesn’t clear all the dues up to date and provides all the required documents. I do the same and paid all the dues and documents and the executive takes my request and I received a request number too. I was feeling free of bills of photon as on my end it’s all cleared and I didn’t check the photon device from that date. Later on after one and a half month I received a bill for the same photon number and I was shocked to see that as in my mind it was already converted to prepay. I again visited the same customer care centre and the behaviour of the executive over there towards me was very pathetic. I tried to explain the matter to those executive and they said because of documents failure your request for prepaid could not completed and your photon device was also used in between so you must have to pay that bill. I asked them that why they didn’t inform me for document failure, they explained that it’s a customer responsibility to check the connection whether is it terminated or not. Even as per there policy they don’t even accept the wrong papers of any customer then how can It possible to cause a document failure, it might be by mistake of their executive. However I paid that more than 2000 INR to clear all the dues and requested again to terminate the account. Later On I received a call after 2-3 days from docomo and a lady was asking me reasons to register a request to terminate my photon device.

I explained her and she told me that she offering me a temporary termination and a mega offer when I continue my account. She said company will charge INR 80 for this but you need to bear this charge, I’ll do on my behalf. She ensures me that now I need not to pay anything, whenever I want to continue, I just need to call her on 07966058311. She told me that you will receive a last bill of INR 80 but you need not to pay. I said ok. Later on I received a bill of INR 80 and I thought I need not to do anything as per my discussion with that executive. Although I made the payment myself to ensure that there will not be any further bills. But later on I was shocked that once again I received the bill in next month and I called to customer care and they said you need to do anything, it was just because of your request could not be updated in our system. Executive ask me to not to make any payme.
