I am using my tata INDICOM number 92125219xxx from past 8 yrs and it was the first time that I was leaving for America for 3 months I inquired in the customer care regarding a safe custody option in which I can pay an amount of rs 50 per month and my number will be put on safe custody and my monthly rental wont apply. I was informed that I have to submit an application for putting my number on safe custody and a photocopy of my ID proof for the same in the nearby customer service center which I did on 10 th may 2014 at Tata indicom service center DEEP CINEMA COMPLEX, after all this I was constantly for 3 consecutive days was visiting the office for perusing the same , I asked them to give me a receiving but they said they will not give any instead will mail me all the documents and other information and I may satisfactorily leave for my trip. When I came back on 3 rd of AUGUST 2014 and checked my MAIL I was surprised to see that nothing such as safe custody was done and I was receiving my monthly bills and non payment intimations. On 4 th of August I switched on my mobile and started using it to see if it was working or not , then I went to the came service center to ask what was going on and what happened and went wrong about my account they informed that they failed to avail the safe custody option from their end and the companies end and said they would try to get me a maximum waver of non usage. After so many days of stress and talking on the customer care they gave me a waver of approximately 450 rs only. BUT I had been charged of for an amount of approximately 1500 rs also an amount of approximate rs 420 was submitted as an advance from my side to clear my dues in MAY 2014 against a bill of rs 680 which I submitted by paying rs 1000 so that they can deduct the amount of rs 150 for safe custody. Now presently after 3 months of all this issue and talking to the customer care and mailing them no head has been paid from the INDICOM team to resolve my problem and instead my complaint has been closed without resolving it. My numbers has been not working and barred from their side from last one month and they still emphasize on payment of my bills and not resolving my problem. The tata teleservices has been harassing me from last 6 months and also in 2009 they had made a menace over their services which was resolved in court . They fail to fulfill any terms and conditions from their side and keep on harassing the consumer to comply by their norms whether they have made a mistake but the consumer has to pay and suffer.
