Dear Sir/Ma’am, I booked a Tata photon+ connection on 31st May 2012, my Tata photon number is 9212148996. I took a plan of 1000MB @ Rs. 500+taxes. In the month of July I put a request for Disconnection of services, the reference no. given to me was 318714189 which was received by me through a text message on 16th July 2012. I explained them the reason for disconnection of service and I was told I will be receiving my last bill on prorata basis. after this cancellation request used to receive calls from no 011-64735118 everyday asking me reasons for disconnection and offering me lucrative plans for reinstating my services. the frequency of calls continued to grow and after few day I used to receive calls four to five times a day. Even if I disconnected the call they persisted and kept calling. The worse was yet to come and that was when they sent me a bill for entire month even though my billing cycle was 13th to 12th of each month… I called their customer care no 1800266121 only to learn that they never processed my request for disconnection and I raised a disconnection request again. I refused to pay the bill for entire month until a new bill is sent to me on pro-rata basis as I was told before. even after a fresh request for disconnection I used to receive call every day for payment of the bill. They literally harassed me with calls and their rude behavior. I couldn’t take it anymore so I blocked their no. using my phone software… the calls did not stop as they called from a different no again… One day I received a call from one of their representatives and again the same story, she started telling me about the new plans; I was fed up so i asked her to get my photon activated with the cheapest of the plan available which was Rs. 250 for 1 Giga Byte. and I paid the bill thinking that this all will stop. But still it did not stop and today I received a text message that pay your bill of Rs. 538 (500+38taxes) for the month of august. Now I have given up the hope and communicating with them regarding this issue and I have no other option but to write to you.. this is my last resort. I previous complaint have been unanswered and on 16th Oct I was slapped with a notice by Tata teleservices ltd from email id Delhilegalcollectioncell@tatatel.co.in and threatened me with legal proceedings within 7 days on non payment of inflated outstanding bills.
Written apology from the highest of the authority at Tata Teleservices limited, Compensation for the harassment and refund of the amount (along with interest) paid by me even though I had raised the request for disconnection. NOC from Tata Teleservices.
