I recently purchased a new TATA NANO LX model from the mentioned tata showroom for which they had all my information as i told them that i have recently shifted from delhi to amravati and i dont have the exact address proof (voter id card, aadhar card, passport) for the same and i only had a bank A/c passbook containing my address for the same . Still they told me that there will be no problem and i got the car handed to me 04 april 2013. Later on when i asked about the no. of the car i was told that i dont have any of the appropriate address proof so they wont be available to help me. I requested them several times but there was the same answer time went on then i visited the RTO OFFICE of amravati and met the highest ranking officer in that office and told him about my overall situation and asked for a help from him he on the spot told me that how did the showroom sold you the car without the necessary address proof, and then after undersatanding the situation he told me the solution for that. now when the registration is done there is a charge of Rs 1300 which is said to be the late fees for getting the car registered late . I was being harassed all the time from purchasing the car till date for this and now they are asking me to make the payment as well. I request the consumer coordination councile to help me with the same.

want the late charges to be paid by the showroom or showroom employees. As they misleaded me for selling their product, not giving the complete information, because of which the whole six months i had to suffer a lot, and the total time which took after (6 months) was their fault due to which the vehicle was not registered. already i had paid a lot for trying to gather the doocuments needed for registration -: 1. I had to make an LIC for the same 2. I had to make all the necesary affidavit (mine and my relatives with whom i live. etc.
