The Mission Hospital – Treatment Refused

SUB: REFUSE FOR TREATMENT Sir, With due respect, I would like to inform my shocking experience regarding treatment of my father. On 5th July, 2014, as per advice of cardiologist, I Sandip Das, attendant of my father Sri Satish Chandra Das, Age 67 years, (Patient) were went for treatment to Dr. Rajarshi Mukhopadhyay, Endocrinologist at The Mission Hospital, Durgapur. We fulfill all the formalities for treatment like appointment, deposit of fees etc. But when we meet the doctor and my father convey his speech regarding dieses, problems, medicine staff on the issue that “the patient did not know how to behave” – which he also write etc., Dr. Mukhopadhyay get excited and refused for treatment even on repeated request on our behalf. Moreover Dr. Mukhopadhyay forced us to leave the hospital by engaging security down on the prescription instead of remedy. After that we wait for a long time at outside the hospital for treatment but nobody has time to understand the patient at all. Due to his defamation, shri Das is now under Physical and Mental Retardation and Dr. Mukhopadhyay is entirely responsible for this in straightway. Treatment of a patient must not affected by personal whims of a doctor concerned as it is a Noble Profession.

We strongly demand to return Shri Das’s Admiration and Sensation hampered by that doctor at the earliest without any argument as Dr. Mukhopadhyay has crossed all the limits of SOCIAL AND NATURAL JUSTICE of Constitution of India. * On hope to get better treatment from the said hospital we already spent Rs. 2,950=00 (Rupees Two thousand nine hundred fifty only) roughly on that particular purpose of treatment including Consultation Fees of Rs. 250, Senior Citizen Card Rs 500, Transportation Charges for hired car for patient Rs. 2,200 from 87×2 Km. away from our native place at Bishnupur, Dist. Bankura to Mission Hospital, Durgapur, Dist. Burdwan.
