Tikona Delay in Disconnection generating bills

I availed a Tikona broadband connection from tikona on 3rd Jan,2014 and since the bill cycle was from 26th to 25th, I was charged on a prorate basis for that month. Now I have asked for disconnection of this service on 31st August. But they are harassing me with calls and mails stating that I would have to pay the bill for the whole cycle for which I did not avail the service.

I am willing to pay the bill based on a prorate basis i.e, from 26th to 31st August for which I have availed the service and be free from this harassment.
