i am a regular subscriber of times of india,chennai edition for the last 4 yrs.they had collected an annual fee of rs 299/- in august 2013 for the year 2013-2014, upto july 2014.as we had shifted our residence in end august, we had requested “toi”,to deliver the newspaper to the new address from 1st sept 2013,through our mail dated 19th aug.they had replied on the 22nd aug,saying that they are confirming the same and will deliver the paper to the new address.from sept 3rd.we had been calling “toi” and made known to them that the newspaper was not being delivered. number of phone calls,and emails were made subsequently.but to no use.they kept on giving the standard reply.till today,we have not received the newspaper.

as money and time had been spent on phone calls/writing mails, “toi’ should pay me a sum of rs 100/- for the cost of phone calls and for causing inconvenience and discomfort by their act of negligence,they should give “free subscription” of their newspaper for the next 3yers i.e starting from 2014 to 2017.
