I paid online Rs 16,500 on 1st August 2013 to UMI Mobile India for purchase of UMI X2 mobile. The order was confirmed by UMI Mobile India and they said that the mobile phone would be sent within 5 – 7 working days.

Dueto failure in delivery, I cancelled the order requested for refund.

UMI Mobile India is not returning the money. I had sent two reminders asking for refund. One Mr. Hemant called that they are processing the refund. Today when I sent one more reminder, the mail got bounced and when contacted they cut the line. Till today, I have not received the refund.

This a clear case of fraud by the company. Indian consumers should be aware of such shady Chinese companies operating in India.
