I have my savings account at State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), Industrial Estate Branch. My SBH savings account number – 52068648946. I have tried to withdraw Rs.20,000 (two subsequent transactions of Rs. 10,000/- each) on 31 March 2014 from Union Bank of India (UBI) ATM located at Pharande Nagar, Nanded (ATM ID: WNAS04601111111). The money has not been dispensed out but my SBH savings account has got debited. I have reported this incidence to SBH on 10th April’14 and many times thereafter but there was no response till 18th May’14. On 18th May, I have raised complaint to UBI (Case Id :- 7166728) and written email complaint to SBH. UBI has replied to my complaint and subsequent letter saying that their record shows that the ATM transaction was successful. SBH has also replied similarly. In actual transaction the cash of Rs.20,000/- ( two subsequent transactions of Rs. 10,000/- each) had not been dispensed so I have asked UBI and SBH to show CCTV footage, in presence of bank officials, corresponding to my cash withdrawal transaction dated 31st March, 2014 of the ATM. Both the banks are not responding to my request. I have visited both the branches several times to get assistance to resolve my case and to get my Rs.20000 back but every time each bank is passing the bug on other. I request you to further investigate the matter by looking at the CCTV footage from Union Bank of India, Wadi branch corresponding to my cash withdrawal transactions dated 31st March 2014 from the ATM. I would want to see the CCTV footage in the presence of bank officials as well and want to reassure the genuinity of my claim. Kindly help me to get my Rs.20,000/- back. I want credit of Rs.20,000 in my savings account along with apology letter from Union Bank of India for poor customer service.
