I booked my Kerala holidays (for my father and mother in law) through rohit makkar from make my trip and I was given two booking ids first one for flight and the other one hotel, car and sightseeing (IN1211B03087, IN1211B03090), Travelling period was between 16 dec to 21 dec 2012. I did a partial payment through net banking , I was told i can pay rest of the amount before 10 days of travelling and I would get the vouchers even when i will make partial payment. I told him I would pay within 10 days of my booking. When I contacted rohit for rest of the payment first of all he told payments are not accepted on Sunday and secondly he told me i can pay in cp office. all the information was wrong. Neither had he sent me vouchers, nor r the payment is accepted in cp office as it is a franchise and on Sunday payments can be accepted. I wasted let of time travelling to cp and rajouri offices. He used to put my call on long hold. To add to it my package was also booked wrong. I asked him to book a three star property which he booked two star. When I complained against him to his senior chanpreet , he also misguided me that three star means what the customer rating is given. I told him I want three star property only then again he lied to me its a three star, even if u search on Google u can easily find its a two star hotel. My vouchers which I got after next day of my payment did not indicated any sight seeing and transfers which was again told to me that’s all included u don’t need to be worry. But if I don’t have any proof why shouldn’t I worry? Even I specified while booking I want breakfast to be included in my package, munnar hotels where not providing as per my voucher again chanpreet argued probably that u could not see its there on voucher. Am I blind or illiterate that I can’t see when its there? the hotels and the package were not according to the itinerary I got. Nobody rohit chanpreet and abhishek (chanpreet’s senior) nobody were picking my phone. Finally I got the coupons. But there were lots of mistakes first of all on the air ticket the spelling of primary guest Mr.Ravinder kumar was spelled as Mr.Ravindar kumar. I got it corrected directly from the airline. I dont know how but normally airlines never do changes in the passenger name but they did it otherwise it would have been huge loss. On 15 December I called up the company info tour design which was suppose to provide car service mentioned on the coupon but I got to know that there was no booking was made make my trip they have only asked for quotation but didn’t make any booking but make my trip has sent me a confirmation. And if I wouldn’t have called for the driver details my parents could have faced another nightmare. A place with no driver and they don’t even know English so I could not imagine their situation. Calling the car services company for driver details was first of all not my job and secondly make my trip representative didnt bother to make a confirmation before s
Is this the way somebody treat senior citizens? How responsible are make my trip representatives are? If the hotels were changed was I my parents fault? If no sightseeing was shown for cochin n thekkady because earlier the driver was not interested in showing them n arrived late to pick my parents was it my parents fault? If the driver was misbehaving who is responsible for that? N if I paid for a 3 star hotel n my parents were sent to nandanam which is m dead sure is not a 3 star property whom should I complained. Even I paid for sightseeing which was again I was not shown in cochin n thekkady? Last but not the least I spent about 4,000 bugs on mobile calling hotels, drivers, makemy trip representative n every other person whom I thought can be helpful? I am highly disappointed and feeling cheating. Holidays are meant for good memories and not for nightmare. How is make my trip planning to compensate for this horror to my parents?
