I have a mobile number which I have registered in the NDNC registry a few years ago. I would one of the early adopters of the system. Before last year there were no calls or messages to my phone.

Around 6 months ago I began to receive marketing SMS messages from different firms. These are mostly shopping malls, textile companies, stock tips, restaurants/hotels etc. There are no numbers on the messages and when i contacted Airtel they said that they are unable to give me the numbers. I am unable to even call them and stop these messages.There is no option to stop them at all. The message come with from address starting with TA- or TM- and then some name.

It would be great if anybody can suggest to me what I can do to stop this. I am ready to start legal proceedings but am unsure what/where I need to start.These messages are received by a lot of people in my office as well.
