I had activated a special tarrif card by payng rs 74 out of my balance on 06/17/2014 as per which my local calls and STD calls were to be priced at 40 paise per minute. However for last few days I have observed that my calls were being charged at 1.2 paise per second, which is much higher. After calling Vodafone for several days and several times, these guys kept saying the calls are being charged right. However today again I called them and mentioned the problem, so the customer service kept me on hold for 25 minutes and then said, we have registered a complaint. The complaint no is MHDF3393989293 and they can only get back to me by 27/06/2014. Its been 10 days and I am still being charged at a higher amount even though I paid extra money to get that 74 rs card.
I want the CEO of Vodafone Mr Martin Pieters to apologize to me and pay me a damage and trauma fee of INR 10,00,000. They need to be reprimanded of giving out wrong information and cheating on the customer which is against the TRAI laws. This case should ensure that they don’t treat any other customer this bad and keep cheating with people’s money.
