Flipkart offered 10% cash back on all purchasing done between 25th Dec 2013 to 1st Jan 2014. I purchased 7-8 items on 1st January worth Rs.32159/- and hence was eligible for 3217/- cash back. i waited for my credit card bill of Jan’14 and found that cash back was not processed, and hence approached flipkart through email regarding the same. They assured me of refund in Feb’14. I waited but again the refund was not processed. Same continued for couple of months. Later, they said that they would need my credit card statement for all the previous months so as to ascertain that refund was not processed. After giving my credit card statement for last 9 months, they agreed and confirmed me the reference number for refund. However, refund didn’t come in Sep’14 as well. Now since last 1 month, i have been chasing them on mail and helpline and every time they take another complaint but money has not been received yet.

1) Rs.4000 (for cash back and interest) 2) Rs.40000 (10 times of basic amount) as value of time that i have spent on their calls/mails. 3) Rs.100000 as compensation for mental harassment 4) Rs.32000 worth purchase credits on flipkart website (equal to the value of purchase made initially) Total = 1,44,000.00 cash + Rs.32000 purchase credit on www.flipkart.com website.
