SNAPDEAL HAD COME UP WITH AN OFFER OF DISCOUNT OF RS. 3000 BY USING SAVE3000 AS PROMO CODE. This was applicable for a single purchase of Rs.35000/- or above On 22/01/2015 around 12.05 am, I made a purchase of iphone 5S 16GB, it was priced 41000, after discount price was 37606. by using promo code of save3000 , the amount paid against order number 4561951418 was Rs. 34606/- from our Amex Card. Additional Rs. 2500/- cash back was applicable as per offer from American Express, which would come to our account on a later date. My costing would have been Rs. 32106/- after cash back.
Snapdeal sent a sms on 23/01/2015 that order has been cancelled. Wehn I called the customer care, they told that there was a systmen issue, and there was price error on the website. And they cancelled the order, and not ready to compensate in any way. But, snapdeal, even now (at this moment) has been taking orders at the at lower than Rs. 37606 (but this time promo code save3000 is not applicable). Also the amex offer of cash back of 10% of Rs. 2500/- expired on 22/01/2015 The website, at the time of placing the order, clearly had the offer SAVE3000 and amex cash back offer running. It is clear now that snapdeal cancelled the order, not because of price error on website, but because they dont want to give save3000 promo code.
I need iphone 5s for Rs. 32106/- or Rs. 5500/- which was the discount originally applied ( 3000 for save3000 and 2500 for making payment by amex) Plus, this was a gift for my wife, i also underwent a depression since i was not able to gift the phone to my wife, the compensation for which snapdeal cannot meet. Let snapdeal just reprocess my order @ Rs. 32106/- or give me refund of 3000+2500 = 5500
