I would like to register a complaint against wrong selling by Writer corporation. I got in touch with them for international shipment of personal stuff to USA as I relocated from India to USA. Their representative came and discussed all possible charges and sent me a quote all inclusive. They sent a quote with charges which they are charging and charged me extra service tax as they said the proposal for extra charge from April 1 is there so they asked it upfront.

After 1 month one of their contracted team in US tells me that there might extra charges if my stuff is held by US customs. This was never informed verbally by any of the Writers member and to my luck my stuff was kept for Checking by US customs. I have not been given any proof that it was kept by US customs, but now they are demanding 550 US dollars to deliver my stuff. I have told them many times that I was never informed despite repeated discussions that there can be any charges. They now say that was part of the quote. It has been an sheer harassment by them asking for money without any information. I would need them to pay all the charges and whatever penalties deem appropriate
